The 24th NEXTA Forum “Designing Materials Research” will be held on 18 December 2025. We are pleased to welcome Professor Roger Reed, Director of the Next Generation Tatara Co-Creation Centre at Shimane University and Professor of Engineering Science and Materials at the University of Oxford, as well as Professor Catherine Rae, Visiting Professor at Shimane University and former Director of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre at Cambridge.

These two world-leading researchers will share examples of how new metallic materials are being developed through open innovation, based on their extensive experience.
