On Wednesday 26 June 2024, the 17th NEXTA forum was held at the Next Generation Tatara Co-Creation Centre(NEXTA) research building. The event was held in dual formats, combining both online and on-site participation, and many people from the companies in and outside of the prefecture, as well as the researchers and university people attended the event.
The seminar was brought by Mr. Takeshi Shimada, a principal researcher at advanced materials development department of Global Research & Innovative Technology center:GRIT, on the theme of “Performance and reliability of lead-free ceramic thermistors.”.
During the seminar, Mr. Shimada explained closely the process of making lead-free semiconductor ceramics, as well as improving reliabilities and cost reduction in productization based on his experience in development.
After the event, the participants reviewed “ The lecture was well-thought out so that it won’t be difficult to understand even for someone who isn’t specialized in the field. The policies of designing materials were clear, so getting to know the research contents was helpful.” “I understood fully the process of developing new materials.”
