On Thursday 18 January 2024, the 16th NEXTA forum was held at the Next Generation Tatara Co-Creation Centre(NEXTA) research building. The event was held in dual formats, combining both online and on-site participation, and many people from the companies in and outside of the prefecture, as well as the researchers and university people attended the event.

The seminar was brought by Mr. Maruno, president of PROTERIAL AM Solution Corporate Venture, on the theme of “Making sustainable manufacturing possible by the development of materials for metal additive manufacturing”.

During the seminar, Mr. Maruno explained the content of the business and the materials for additive manufacturing, which have been developed uniquely, including their progress on the business development in the ASEAN area.

After the event, the participants reviewed “ It helped me understand that the technology for 3D additive manufacturing to be used for special steel has been already developed at the practical level.”,  “I understood that the research development on advanced metal additive manufacturing powder with the research institutes overseas has proceeded and came to bearing fruit.”
