Professor Kazuto ARAKAWA, the vice-director of NEXTA was awarded the conference award (Setou award) of the Japanese Society of Microscopy

 On the 12th of May, 2022, Professor Kazuto ARAKAWA, the vice-director of NEXTA awarded the 67th (FY 2022) prize (Setou award) from the Japanese Society of Microscopy during the 78th academic conference. The subject matter is “The research of in-situ observation for lattice defect behaviors in Metals using Transmission Electronic Microscope”. 

 This award is to honor people who contributed to the improvements and development of basic and applied research and technology of microscopes. It is also to honor the conference member who contributed to the Japan Society of Microscopy by accomplishing a high level of achievements for some significant period of time.
