NEXTA's effort awarded the award of excellence on the 10th Regional industry support program's awards system (Innovation net award 2021)

The 10th Regional industry support program's awards system (Innovation net award 2021)is an award system to evaluate and disseminating excellent activities that support companies according to the characteristics of each region, aiming to create new business or industry in each region in Japan. It is determined that the Next Generation Tatara co-Creation Centre(NEXTA) awarded the award of excellence for its activity as “Creating an open innovation base in centering the Next Generation Tatara Co-Creation Centre(NEXTA)” and the commendation ceremony was held online on the 22nd of June.
This commendation is organized by the Japan Industrial Location Center and the Innovation Initiative Network Japan.

NEXTA has been working on the project to achieve the goal of “Be a university that is lively in the region and shining worldwide”, cooperate with the Shimane Prefectural Government’s policy that promotes aircraft parts related industry and manufacturing process technology of special steel which is a regional resource. Setting the NEXTA as the base of innovation and promoting research development and human resource development, also the cooperation with the University of Oxford in research and education, NEXTA is becoming a model of the region in industry-government-academia collaboration. All these activities were recognized, and NEXTA was awarded the award of excellence this time.
